The touch panel with recipe
buttons does not work.
The SENSEO® machine does
not produce good or enough
frothed milk
Milk froth continues to flow from
the milk spout.
I cannot open the lid of the
coffee machine.
The touch panel may be wet. Dry the touch panel. Make sure your
hand is dry when you touch the buttons.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the coffeemaker
corresponds to the local voltage.
There is not enough milk in the milk container. Fill the milk
container to the MAX level.
Make sure the milk tube is properly connected to the milk spout
and the tube is inserted properly into the milk container.
The milk is not cold enough. Make sure you use cold milk straight
from the refrigerator (5°C-8°C).
You did not use cow's milk. To achieve the best frothing results we
advise you to use semi-skimmed cow's milk at refrigerator
temperature (5°C-8°C).
The milk spout and milk tube may be dirty. Disassemble all the
parts of the milk spout and milk tube. Clean them thoroughly with
a brush and some washing-up liquid or put them in the
dishwasher (see 'Cleaning the milk spout and the milk container').
The machine needs descaling. Follow the descaling procedure to
descale the machine (see 'Descaling ').
If all of the above does not work, put the whole milk spout in a
bowl of the milk spout in a bowl with descaler solution for 10 to 20
minutes. Make sure to turn the milk spout from. time to time.
If the milk continues to flow more than a few seconds, make sure
the milk container is placed at the same level as the coffee
machine.
A vacuum may have temporarily formed under the lid. Switch off
the coffee machine. Pull up the lever and wait 24 hours before
you open the lid. You may need to use some force.
Always make sure the pod holders are clean and the center of the
sieve is not clogged to prevent locking the lid.
