Do not insert the battery until
the appliance is fully assem-
bled. Risk of injury!
Recharging the battery
Allow a freshly charged battery
(5) to cool down for approx. 15
minutes before inserting it into
the battery charger (15).
1. Remove the battery (5) from

the appliance, as necessary.
2. Inser the battery (5) in the
charging compartment of the
battery charger (15). It will au-
dibly snap in.
3. Plug the battery charger (15)
into a mains outlet.
green LED flashing:
battery charging.
green LEDs light up:
battery is charged.
4. When the battery is fully re-
charged unplug the battery
charger (15) from the mains.
5. Press the release button (4) on
the battery (5) and pull the battery
out of the battery charger (15).
Indicator charge level
Press the „Press" button on the right of
charging level indicator in order to check
the status of the battery.
The number of illuminated LED lights
shows the charge level of the battery. 3
lights means battery is fully charged. 1
light means that the battery needs to be
charged.
Used batteries
•
If a fully recharged battery lasts for
considerably shorter operating times,
the battery is used up and needs to
be replaced. Only use an OEM battery
pack replacement available from our
Customer Service.

information (see "Cleaning and Main-
tenance").
Assembly instructions
Before assembly remove the re-
chargeable battery from the de-
vice and insert it only when the
device is completely assembled.
There is a risk of injury!
Height-adjustable mounting of the
brush box:
Slide the brush box (10) along the
guide rails (21) on the motor head
(13) until it clicks into one of the two
possible positions (22).
Inserting/replacing the brush:
1. Push the brush support (23) to-
wards the motor head (13) and
insert the desired brush (12).
2. Release the brush support (23) to
let it return to the initial position.
3. To remove the brush, push the
brush support (23) and remove
the brush.
The spare brush is released from
the spare brush holder (
pressing the release button (
GB
25) by
18).
