Connection
• Connect the USB plug of the product to a USB 3.0 port on your computer.
If connecting it to a USB 2.0 port, the product might not work properly due to
lower current (USB 3.0: 900 mA / USB 2.0: 500 mA).
• When operating the product for the first time, the operating system recognizes
a new hardware and completes the driver installation. This might take several
minutes. During installation, the monitor might flicker or turn black several times.
That is normal when detecting a new external graphic card.
• The product is now ready for use.
Operation
a) Connecting the monitor
Connect your monitor to the corresponding video output (HDMI or VGA).
Simultaneous video output via both outputs is not possible. If both outputs
are connected, the video signal is rendered via HDMI port.
b) Network connection
• Connect the RJ45 port to, for example, a router or network switch using a 1:1
connected, fully wired network cable.
• If possible, have the connection and configuration done by a network or system
administrator (e.g. of a bigger company).
• There are a number of reasons for network connections not being set up properly.
Refer to corresponding expert literature or contact an expert.
c) USB 3.0 port
• Use this port to connect, for example, a USB webcam, a USB mouse or a USB
keyboard.
• The port is downwards compatible with USB 2.0. Therefore you may also connect
older USB devices to the port.
Tips and notes
• The English user manual of the manufacturer is located on the CD.
• Never disconnect the product from the computer during operation, as this could
cause data loss.
• If needed, connect the supplied rubber feet to the bottom of the product.

chemical solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Disconnect the product from all connected devices before cleaning.

• Have maintenance and repairs done by qualified experts or repair shops only. There
are no components located inside the product you need to maintain.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not apply too much
