Safety Information
Please note the following for your own safety and that of your
patients.
•
Please observe these operating instructions. They are part of
the case and must be kept available at all times.
•
Thorough knowledge of and compliance with these operating
instructions are essential when using the case.
•
The case is intended solely for the designated purpose
described.
•
If third-party items are used, functional failures may occur and
fitness for use may be restricted. Please note that in such cases,
any claim under warranty and liability will be voided if neither
the accessories nor genuine replacement parts recommended
in the instructions for use are used.
•
Make sure that any leakages of liquids, e.g. from ampoules, are
cleared up immediately. Observe the relevant manufacturer's
warnings and disposal instructions.
•
If the case is equipped with oxygen bottles and other
appliances, be sure to observe the relevant operating
instructions and special information.
•
Secure the oxygen bottles against falling over.
•
Keep the equipment free from oil and grease.
•
Be sure to wash your hands before changing bottles.
•
When fitting or changing bottles, tighten all screwed joints by
hand only. Never use tools for this purpose.
•
Always open the bottle valve slowly.
•
Smoking and naked lights are strictly prohibited in the vicinity
of fittings containing oxygen.
•
Always ensure that oxygen bottles contain an adequate supply.
It is advisable to keep a full oxygen bottle in reserve.
•
Please comply with section "6 Hygienic preparation" on
page 12 to prevent infection or bacterial contamination.
