Functional Check

Clean the inside and outside of the case simply by wiping with
disinfectant. Recommended disinfectant:

• terralin protect. See also the instructions for use for the
disinfectant used. It is recommended that suitable gloves (e.g.
household or disposable gloves) are used for disinfecting.
To do this, take out the dividers.
If the case is fitted with an oxygen bottle, the outside of the fittings
must be cleaned. To do this, use a clean dry cloth or a cloth
moistened with clean water.
You should perform a functional check after every use (at least
every 2 years in the event of non-use).
If the functional check reveals a defect, the emergency case must
not be used again until the defect has been remedied.
Perform the functional check as follows:
1. Check that the inserts, cover plate, ampoule strips, case corners
and case handle are undamaged.
2. Check that the case fasteners open and close easily.
3. Check the hinges of the case and of the cover plate. They must
move easily and be properly attached.
Replace any defective parts.
