Drilling fastening holes
Observe the safety instructions for the drill. Make sure you do not damage any leads or
cables located in the drilling area.
Drill the holes for the four ultrasound sensors
with the enclosed 21 mm drill.
After drilling, smooth the
holes with a file or a sharp
blade.
Inserting the ultrasound sensors
The ultrasound sensors must always be
mounted horizontally, otherwise measuring
will be faulty. With slanted installation sites,
you can use the enclosed distancer rings (7)
for compensation.
Press the sensors in the right direction into
the openings until these lie flush on the
bumper.
Make sure to connect the ultrasound sensors in the right sequence. Start with sensor A
on the rear left (also see illustrations „Installation" and „Individual parts"). If the
sequence is mixed up, the direction assignment on the display (3) is not correct.
