3. Optional Sync Button Procedure
Note: TRENDnet adapters auto-connect out of the box over a pre-encrypted Powerline signal. The following
recommended optional Sync Button Procedure changes the existing Powerline encryption key.
Push Sync button for

15 seconds to
generate new network
encryption key. All
LEDs will turn off and
then turn back on.

Push Sync button for

3 seconds, then
release. POWER LED
will blink.
B
(On Adapters A & B)

POWERLINE LED will
turn solid when
connected.

Connect Additional Adapters using the Sync button

(On Adapter A or B) Push Sync

button for 3 seconds. Then
release. POWER LED will blink.
(On Adapter C) Push Sync

button for 3 seconds, then
release. POWER LED will blink.
(On All Adapters) POWERLINE

LED will turn solid when
connected.
