and 7 mm.
Operation
 Before each use, always put a few drops
of acid-free oil between the trimming comb
and the blade.
Cutting hair:
– Fit the hair trimming-head.
– For longer hair, one of the push-on combs
provided may be used. We recommend that
you start with the large comb.
– Switch the appliance on.
– The hair should fi rst be combed, and then
generally cut against its natural direction.
– Always cut from bottom to top with the
shaving head lying against the head; lead
the appliance upwards through the hair,
moving it gradually away from the head at
the same time
– For a shaped cut, reverse the appliance and
shorten the hair from top to bottom without
a push-on comb.
Trimming the beard:
– Fit the beard/contour trimming-head.
– For longer beards, the small push-on comb
attachments should be used. However,
always start with the largest cutting-length
setting.
– Switch the appliance on.
– The beard is generally cut against the
natural direction of growth.
– Always begin at the neck and move the
appliance upwards through the beard hair.
– For a shaped cut, reverse the appliance and
shorten the hair from top to bottom without
using the push-on comb.

and then remove the adaptor from the wall

the risk of electric shock, the appliance
and the adaptor must not be immersed in

– If necessary, the exterior surfaces of the

Trimming comb and trimming blade
– After each use, use the cleaning brush to
remove hair from between the trimming
comb and the blade.

– Before use, and again after every 15
