WARNING!
KEEP ALL FLAME AND HEAT SOURCES AWAY FROM THIS TENT
FABRIC. This tent meets the flammability requirements of
CPAI-84. IT IS NOT FIRE PROOF! The tent fabric will burn if left in
continuous contact with any flame source. The application of any
foreign subsances to the tent fabric may render the flame-resistant
properties ineffective.
DANGER:
Stoves, lanterns, candles, grills, heaters, and other fuel-burning devices
produce carbon monoxide, and will consume the available oxygen in this
tent. The use of such devices in this tent will cause asphyxiation, carbon
monoxide poisoning, and death or serious and permanent injuries. For
this reason:
- DO NOT use fuel-buring devices inside or near this tent
- Failure to follow this warning may cause death or serious and
permanent injury to you or others using this tent.
DO NOT...
- Pitch tent near open fire.
- Use candles, matches, or open flames of any kind in or near a tent
- Leave campfire unattended.
- Leave children unattended inside a tent.
- Use fuel-burning, oxygen-consuming devices (heaters, lanterns, cooking
stoves, or other sources of flame) inside your tent.
- Build campfires upwind of a tent.
- Refuel lamps, heaters, or stoves inside a tent.
- Smoke inside a tent.
- Store flammable liquids inside a tent.
- Use water repellent compounds on your tent, other than those
recommended for use on outdoor equipment.
- Spray the tent with insecticide.
- Store tent on concrete floor.
DO...
- Always extinguish campfire before sleeping or leaving the area.
- Exercise care when using electricity and lighting in and near tents.
- Make certain your tent is properly ventilated in all weather conditions.
In extreme weather conditions, snow could obstruct airflow and cause
asphyxiation unless cleared frequently.
- Anchor your tent securely to provide additional security in changing
climatic conditions. Snow pegs, skis, and/or heavy rocks may be
necessary to supplement tent stakes and guy cords.
- Take your tent down and store properly after camping.
Two-room Dome Tent
76-5042-0 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
DO NOT EXPOSE THE DOME TENT TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT LONGER
THAN NECESSARY. The sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays degrade most
fabrics and materials. If left under direct sunlight for prolonged
periods of time, the fabric will fade and weaken. Do not store the
dome tent on a concrete floor.
The dome tent is water repellent. However, it is not waterproof. During
heavy rain, some leakage may occur. Avoid contact between objects
and the inside of the walls of the dome tent, because this may result in
leakage at points of contact. In the event of seam leakage, apply a
seam sealer compound.
Although our dome tents are manufactured according to rigorous
specifications, periods of wind or rain may loosen the stakes and
cause the frame to sink into the ground. This will weaken the
structure's overall rigidity. Puddles may also form on the roof if the
unit has not been assembled tightly. This can lead to broken frames
and torn fabric.
CLEANING
Allow dirt to dry on the dome tent's roof after a rainfall before lightly
sweeping it off with a brush. For tougher stains, spray the area with
water, and lightly wipe it off with a few strokes.
DO NOT SCRUB THE FABRIC. NEVER USE A DETERGENT TO CLEAN
THE DOME TENT'S FABRIC ROOF. ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR DOME
TENT IS COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE REPACKING.
