5. How to Wire Your Ceiling Fan
5.3
Securely connect the fan motor black (hot) wire to the
supply black wire (hot) using a wire connector supplied
(Figure 17).
Check to see that all connections are tight, including
ground, and that no bare wire is visible at the wire
connectors, except for the ground wire.
CAUTION:Do not operate fan until blades are in place.
Noise and fan damage could result.
5.4
After connections have been made, turn wires upward and
carefully push wires into the outlet box, with the white and
green wires on one side of the outlet box and the black
wires on the other side of the outlet box (Figure 18).
