2 . Installation instructions according collection: Cosivista 120 & 160
The Cosivista is supplied complete with pressure regulator (30 mbar) and gas hose. You only need to purchase a
gas bottle. These can be purchased at your local gas supplier.
1. Installing the Cosivista
Carefully remove your Cosivista from its packaging and select the location for your Cosivista. The location must
meet the following conditions:
-
Make sure that the Cosivista is placed on a paved (preferably stone) surface. The surface should be
completely flat and clean
-
The Cosivista should be placed at least two meters away from flammable materials and liquids. Do you
want to place the Cosivista with the back panel in front of a wall? Always follow the following guidelines:
o
Keep the Cosivista 120 92cm from the center of the burner to each side apart from walls,
furniture and other objects.
o
Keep the Cosivista 160 112 cm from the center of the burner to the left and right side and 92cm
from the center of the burner to the front and back side from walls, furniture and other objects.
-
Lift the top of the Cosivista and place the unpacked Cosi burner in the model. The burner is easier to
position if the control knob is first removed from the burner. Once the burner is put into the recess,
place the control knob back on the burner and guide the gas hose with regulator to the gas tank unit.
Before Cosivista is ready for use you should place an AAA battery for the piezo ignition. Please see '2.5 Replacing
the battery for the piezo ignition.'
When the Cosivista is installed properly, you can place the lava rocks and ceramic logs on the top. Start by
unpacking the small lava rocks and place these on the ground. Every product from Cosivista is supplied with small
and large lava rocks. Take the small lava rocks without grit and place these gently on the model. Repeat the
process with the big lava rocks and make sure the fire ring is covered with lava rocks. Keep the space around the
ignition unit free of lava rocks.
After placing the lava rocks, unpack the ceramic logs. The Cosivista 120 & 160 are always supplied with three
pieces. It is recommended to place the ceramic logs as follows:
Make sure the fire ring is minimally covered by the logs. When the logs block the fire ring, there will be a
dangerous situations. The blockade of the fire ring will affect the air flow of the ring and the flames will be
different. This results in dangerous situations!
If you want to reorder the lava stones or ceramic logs, this is possible at your purchase address.
Pay Attention: When you are going to use the Cosivista for the first time, make sure that the device is turned at
the highest setting for 15 minutes. In this way, the lava stones are heated through and this ensures that any
bumps or air bubbles will disappear from the lava rocks. During the first time the Cosivista is turned on or when
the lava rocks have been wet (after some rain), keep at least two meters away from the burner and also ensure
that no flammable materials are placed around or on the table within this radius of two meters. Because the
air bubbles are burned from the lava stones, the stones can jump up during the first time / when lava rocks have
been wet and possibly come out of the burner.
When you want to move or clean up the lava rocks and ceramic logs, always make sure that they have cooled
down completely.
