or otherwise faulty, e.g. if the flow of heat is in-
terrupted. Never attempt repairs yourself, but
take your heating pad to Solis or a Solis appro-
ved service centre in order to get it inspected or
mechanically and electrically repaired.
4. Do not leave the power cable hanging over ta-
ble edges so that it cannot be pulled. Make
sure it does not come into contact with hot sur-
faces such as, for example, a hot plate or radia-
tor.
5. Never carry or drag the appliance by the power
cable.
6. During use the control is not allowed to lie on or
under the pad or be otherwise covered.
7. Never lay the pad on hot surfaces or bring the
pad into contact with them.
8. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
9. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use or
unattended. Never leave the heating pad swit-
ched on unattended. We recommend the use of
a residual current device (RCD safety switch) to
