HOW TO READ THE LEDS
The Dial LED is on or flashing when the GSM alarmer is calling or sending a text
message.
The Network LED is flashing when connecting to the GSM network and on when
successfully connected. Messages can only be sent/received when the LED is on.
The Awake LED is flashing when GSM Alarmer is awake.
The Charging LED will be shining in red when power is plugged in correctly.
INSTALLATION
If you press the Wake up button by mistake, wait 10 minutes until the Awake LED turns
off before continuing the installation.
1.
First set the GSM alarmer to match your version of horseAlarm. When starting
up your horseAlarm receiver, you will see a 3 digit number in the upper right corner.
If the number is 200 or above, set the mode switch to 2. If you see a number lower
than 200, set it to 1.

Make sure the pin code is turned off on your SIM card. (Use your mobile phone to
turn the pin code off, instructions are available at http://ludaelektronik.com/gsm)
You will need the phone number to the SIM card when adding a phone number.

Using a pen or paperclip, push the yellow button next to the SIM tray. Take the
tray o ut. Place the SIM card in the tray and insert it up-side-down into the GSM
alarmer.
4.
Disconnect the power adaptor from the horseAlarm receiver. Connect it to the
power cable splitter. Connect the Receiver and GSM Alarmer to the power cable
splitter and then to a 220 V socket. We recommend that you always keep power
plugged into the GSM alarmer.
5.
Connect the GSM Alarmer to the horseAlarm Receiver using the connection cable.
ADDING A pHONE NUMBER
1.
Press the Wake up button once, wait until the Network LED is on constantly.* If this
doesn't happen, use your mobile phone to check that the SIM card has got a valid
subscription, that the pin code has been removed and that the GSM coverage is
OK.
2.
Text PN1 immediately followed by the phone number the GSM alarmer should call
when there's an alarm, in a SMS to the phone number of the SIM card in the GSM
alarmer. (Example: PN10123456789)
3.
You should receive a confirmation SMS. If you don't get one, try again, and then
check that the GSM alarmer SIM card is charged with money.
*Note! After pressing the Wake up button, the GSM alarmer will be awake for 10 minutes
and then go into sleep mode. It will wake up when there's an alarm or if you press the
