7. Take the assembled parts above and slide section 2 of the boom into section 1 as
shown below. If the screen/whiteboard is very small (for example 57" diameter)
you will need to insert section 2 projector-end first so that the projector faces
away from the wall, then turn the projector 180 degrees.
8. Turn the projector on and adjust the boom length so that the projected image
matches the screen WIDTH. If the boom protrudes beyond the rear of the projector
follow these steps:
a. Mark the excess length of section 1
b. Remove projector/boom assembly
c. Cut section 1 at the projector end
d. Insert projector/boom assembly back into section 1 and lock into position
with the locking pin-hex bolts on the top surface of section 1.
9. Follow these steps to adjust image height:
Ultra-Short-Throw projectors:
a. Using a spirit level adjust the hollow screws
in the end of each spider leg to make the
projector level or perpendicular to the
projection surface.
b. Turn the wall plate adjustment spindle to
move the boom up or down as required.
Short-Throw projectors:
Use a combination of the wall plate height
adjustment and the tilting mechanism to
adjust the image. Once all adjustments are
made, insert the pin-hex bolts that lock the
boom in place to the wall plate.
