It is also recommended to connect the output of the device to the system by means of a flexible tube
Before starting the device check that the pump is correctly primed.
4.3- Electrical connections
The electrical connections must be carried out by qualified personnel and in compliance with local
regulations in force.
It is always advisable to provide for the installation of an omni polar switch upstream from the device
with a minimum opening of the contacts equal to three millimeters.
• Check the mains voltage and the nameplate data of the pump motor.
• Carry out the electrical connections.
- Unit to pump: follow the wiring diagram printed on the cover.
- Unit to main power source: simply connect the unit's power plug to a main power socket-outlet.
• Make sure that the device is grounded.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for personal use
• Starts and stops the pump in accordance with the opening and closing of the services.
• Maintains a constant pressure during delivery.
• Stops the pump in case of any water shortage, thus protecting it from dry running.
• Require little maintenance.
5.2- Operating the Automatic Control
A panel is mounted on the front of the device which displays all the operating phases of the system by
means of LED lights: - green light
When connecting to the electrical mains, the green light turns on (Power ON) then the yellow light
(Pump ON) indicating the start-up of the pump
The latter remains in operation for a few seconds in order to allow the system to build up pressure.
If this time is not sufficient, the red light Failure will turn on; in this case keep the red Restart button
pressed and wait with a service (e.g. tap) open until the red light turns off.
After the service (e.g. tap) is closed, the device stops the pump and goes into standby mode, the green
LED lights on, ready to carry out in complete autonomy all the subsequent command and control
operations.
On opening a service (e.g tap, watering...), the device starts the pump which remains in operation for as
long as the service itself is opened.
After the service has been closed, the device restores maximum pressure to the system, then stops the
pump and returns to the standby mode.
In the event of water shortage during aspiration, the device identifies the failure and signals it with the
red light Failure, and stops the pump protecting it from dry running.
Once the causes of a blockage have been removed, press the red Restart button to restore normal
operation.
In the case of a temporary power outage the device will automatically restart as soon as the electricity
returns.
