LOOKING AFTER YOUR GLOVES
- When the gloves are not in use, dis-
connect the batteries and store the
gloves in a dry place.
- After use, the equipment should always
be dried in the open air. Do not dry it in
direct sunlight or with the aid of a direct
heat source (an engine, exhaust pipe,
hairdryer, etc).
- Do not wring the gloves.
- Do not keep your gloves in your helmet,
a bag, or a sealed box, as the moisture
will cause mildew to appear.
- Clean your gloves on a regular basis
with the aid of a brush, a damp sponge
and a gentle detergent (such as Mar-
seille soap). Leave the gloves to dry in
the open air. If your gloves are leather
(and only if they are leather), you may
apply a small amount of lotion (such as
baby lotion) with a soft cloth to feed the
material, keep the gloves supple and
prevent them from drying out.
- You can also apply waterproof spray to
your gloves to make them more resis-
tant to water and dirt.
- Do not put your gloves in the washing
machine or a tumble dryer.
- Do not turn your gloves inside out.
- Do not dry clean them.
