12. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
Cleaning the Mini Fridge
• Possible dust collection around and under the Refrigerator should
be cleaned in a timely fashion, in order to improve the cooling
effect and help in energy efficiency
• Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Use only neutral
detergents.
• The interior of the Refrigerator should be cleaned regularly to
avoid possible odors..
• Please turn off the power before cleaning interior , remove all
foods , drinks ,shelves, etc .
• Clean the unit's interior with a weak bicarbonate soda solution
and rinse with warm water applying a damp sponge or cloth. Allow
natural drying prior to use.
• For difficult areas, it is advised to wipe with a soft cloth to eliminate any possible bacteria
accumulation.
• The use of soap, or other detergents is not advised as this usage may result in various
unpleasant odors.
• Clean the bottle frame, shelves and drawers with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water
or diluted detergent. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth or dry naturally .
• Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior, and dry with a soft cloth or dry naturally.
• Do not use hard brushes , clean steel balls , wire brushes , abrasives(such as toothpastes),
organic solvents (such as alcohol , acetone , banana oil , etc .), boiling water , acid or alkaline
items, which may damage the Mini Fridge's surface and interior. Boiling water and organic
solvents such as benzene may deform or damage plastic parts .
• Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids during cleaning to avoid short circuits or
affect electrical insulation after immersion.
Please unplug the refrigerator for defrost and cleaning
Defrosting the Mini Fridge
The Mini Fridge should be defrosted manually.
Disconnect the main power socket, open the fridge door and remove all the stored goods,
placing them in a cool place. It is recommended to remove the frost with a plastic scraper or
allow the accumulated frost to melt naturally. Be certain to wipe all remaining ice and water,
then re-plug.
It is considered normal for the evaporator in the Mini Fridge to accumulate frost while in use.
While defrosting, it is advised to use the drain tray.
Notice:
Do not use any other means, or mechanical devices, to accelerate the defrosting
process, only those specified by the manufacturer, to avoid the risk of damaging the
refrigerant circuit.
