Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with the instructions, certain
residual risks cannot be eliminated. The fol-
lowing hazards may arise in connection with
the equipment's construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protec-
tion is applied.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vibra-
tions if the equipment is used over a longer
period or is not properly guided and maintai-
ned.
6. Before starting the equipment
•
The machine must be set up so that it stands
firmly, i.e. it must be securely screwed to a
work bench, to the base frame supplied, or
similar.
•
All covers and safety devices have to be pro-
perly fitted before the equipment is switched
on.
•
The cutting wheel must rotate smoothly.
•
Check that the voltage on the rating plate is
the same as your supply voltage before you
connect the equipment to the power supply.
7. Assembly and operation
7.1 Unfolding the base frame (Fig. 2)
•
To set up the equipment on its feet (1), press
the latching button (a) and lower the respec-
tive feet (1) until they latch in the intended

•
Then fasten the hose to the intended posi-
tions as shown in Fig. 5 and 6.
Important!
To guarantee proper operation, the cooling water
hose (14) must not be kinked during installation.
Caution!
It must be impossible for the cable and the coo-
ling water hose to get into the cutting area.
7.3 Fitting the transport aids (Fig. 7 - 9)
•
Fit the transport wheels (19), the parking foot
