Step 3. End of the charging process
To prevent overcharging of the batteries, the safety timer will cut off

the process automatically after 16 hours. The charging lights will go
out.
High capacity cells will require a 2nd or 3rd charging cycle of 16 hours

each (please read * below the table of average charging times). Dis-
connect the charger from the mains and reconnect to start a new
charging cycle from Step 2.
Always unplug the charger and remove the batteries after charge is
•
completed.

Regarding used batteries
The consumer should return used batteries to the dealer's shop or
to the collecting boxes for recycling of batteries placed in stores or
collecting points.
Regarding "waste electrical and electronic equipment" (WEEE)
The equipment that you bought has required the extraction and use of

natural resources for its production.
It may content hazardous substances for the health and the environ-

ment.
In order to avoid the dissemination of those substances in our envi-

ronment and to diminish the pressure on the natural resources, we en-
courage you to use the appropriate take-back systems. Those systems
will reuse or recycle most of the materials of your end life equipment
in a sound way. Please do not dispose of WEEE as unsorted municipal
waste.

Warranty and warranty limitations
Warranty: the Memorex battery charger RX 600 Universal is warranted to be free
from defects in material and operation for three years. If in the unlikely event it is
