terials soaked in solvents.
• Some woods contain preservatives which
can be toxic. Take extra care to prevent
inhalation and skin contact when working
with these materials. Request and follow
any safety information available from the
supplier of the materials.
• Only use the socket outlet of the appliance
for purposes specified in the instruction
manual.
• Keep the suction nozzle and hose away
from people and animals, especially from
delicate areas such as hair and body ori-
fices, but also from clothing.
• If foam or liquid escapes from the appli-
ance, switch it off immediately and unplug
the appliance.
• Do not immerse the appliance and never
use water jet against it (e.g. to clean it).
• If the appliance overturns, stand it up be-
fore switching it off.
• Always be aware of your surroundings and
stay alert for possible hazards of which
you may not be aware due to the noise of
the appliance.
• Never stand or sit upon the cleaner. Do not
use the cleaner as a seat, ladder or step-
ladder.
• Do not place heavy objects on the cleaner.
• Particular caution is advised when as-
cending stairs. Pay attention to standing
safely.
• Do not hang the vacuum cleaner by its han-
dle (e.g. for transporting purposes).
• Always lay the suction hose and power
cord so that nobody may trip over them.
• Do not pull suction hose and power cord
over sharp edges, kink it or shut it.
• The power cord must not be used to pull or
lift the appliance.
• Stop the appliance and disconnect it from
the power supply after every use, before
leaving it unattended, and before any
maintenance.
• Pull on the plug only, not on the cord.
• Never grasp the plug with wet hands.
3) MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Warning! The appliance contains
harmful dust. The emptying and
maintenance, including the removal of the
bag, may only be executed by trained person-
nel, wearing suitable protection equipment.
Wear dust mask for protection of your res-
piratory tract.
• Never carry out any maintenance on the
appliance without first disconnecting it
from the power supply.
• Clean and disinfect the cleaner imme-
diately after use to prevent microbial
contamination due to long-term failure to
clean it, especially when using the device
in food-processing.
• Do not use steam jets or high-pressure
cleaners for cleaning.
• Do not clean filter cassettes with com-
pressed air.
• Periodically examine the power cord and
appliance for damage. If any damage is
found, do not use the appliance until it has
been repaired.
• Have repairs only been made by experts.
Improperly repaired devices pose a hazard
for the user.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
centres or similarly qualified people in or-
der to avoid a hazard.
• Use only manufacturers recommended re-
placement parts and accessories.
• Always allow the appliance to cool down
before storing.
• When not in use, store the appliance out of
the reach of children.
• Store the product indoors in a dry, clean
place protected from direct sunlight.
