3. Always make sure the lid is well closed.
4. The bottom part and the outside of the kettle must not be wet.
Steam fuse
Ensures an automatic disconnection of the kettle from the power supply after the water starts to boil. In order
for the fuse to function, the lid of the kettle has to be closed properly.

USING THE APPLIANCE

Boil clean water twice before using the appliance for the fi rst time.
1. Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfi ll the kettle, watch the water level indicator.
2. The indicator light will turn on after you plug the kettle into the power outlet, signifying that the water is
being heated.
3. The kettle will switch off automatically after the boiling process has fi nished.
4. If the indicator light is not on, press the RESET button, which will reactivate the kettle.
5. Unplug the cord from the outlet.
6. Do not open the lid when pouring the water out.
Attention
The water heating is activated by plugging the kettle into the power outlet. Make sure that every time that
you plug the kettle in, it is fi lled with water!

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Always unplug the cord from the outlet before cleaning!
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth and then wipe dry.
Use designated and commonly available agents to remove scale from the kettle.
