This film can simply be pulled out. The light is switched on and off
by pressing on the push switch and offers a number of different
functions (figs. 2–5Press once to turn the light on; the red light is in
flash mode. Press twice and the light is lit continuously. Press a third
time to deactivate the light. Please note that the battery of the LED
rear light can fail or become drained. You should therefore check
regularly that the light is working. Parents should also ensure that
their children regularly check the functionality of their LED rear light.
The LED rear light is not a toy and should not be used by children
except under the supervision of an adult. Symbols shown on the
product: You will see a number of symbols on the product (figs.
10–14). Fig. 10: Declaration of conformity: products labelled with

appliances. Changing and disposing of batteries: To change the
battery, first detach the light from the helmet (fig. 1). Now remove
the cover plate for the light by carefully sliding the rubber edging
to the side to allow the plate to be removed (figs. 6–7). Take out the
circuit board (fig. 8). The battery is located on the reverse side of the
circuit board (fig. 9). You can now slide it out. Only use replacement
batteries of type CR 2032 – 3V (fig. 13). This battery is commonly
available and can be purchased from any good electrical appliance
store. Please note that the battery must only be replaced with a
battery of the same type and voltage. To insert the new battery go
back in reverse order through the steps for removal. Notes: Battery
replacement must be carried out by an adult. Check the polarity of
the battery when inserting. Do not attempt to recharge batteries and
