SAFETY
• Do not use the appliance to vacuum liquids

• Do not use appliance when damaged; take it to one of

safety check
CHARGING/BATTERIES
• Charge the appliance only with the charger supplied
• Always check that the supply voltage is the same as the
voltage indicated on the nameplate of the charger
(chargers with a rating of 230V or 240V can also be
connected to a 220V supply)
• The charger is intended for indoor use only 2
• Never pull the charger cord to disconnect the charger
from the power source

• Keep the charger cord away from heat, oil and sharp
edges
• Do not carry or suspend the charger by the cord

• To avoid the risk of electric shock, be careful when
drilling holes in the wall to mount the appliance holder
(especially close to a wall socket)
• Do not use charger when damaged
• The charger of this appliance cannot be replaced; if the
charger is damaged, the appliance must be discarded
WHEN CONNECTING NEW 3-PIN PLUG (U.K. ONLY):
• Do not connect the blue (= neutral) or brown (= live) wire
in the cord of the charger to the earth terminal of the
plug
• If for any reason the old plug is cut off the cord of the
charger, it must be disposed of safely and not left
unattended
USE
• On/off
Switch on/off the appliance by pressing/releasing

• Mounting holder on the wall 4
- insert charger plug B into holder C as illustrated
- mount holder on the wall with 2 screws (in a location
where the ambient temperature will not exceed 40°C
or drop below 0°C)
• Charging the appliance 5
- slide appliance onto holder C as illustrated
- plug charger D into wall socket
- charging light E turns on indicating that the appliance
is being charged
! before first use, charge the appliance for at least
16 hours
IMPORTANT:
- a battery that is new or has not been used for a
longer period does not develop its full capacity until
after approximately 5 charging/discharging cycles
- the charging light will stay on as long as the
appliance is connected to the charger and the
charger is in the wall socket
- the charging light does not give any information on
the charge level of the built-in batteries
- while charging, the charger and the battery may
become warm to touch; this is normal and does not
indicate a problem
- the charger automatically shuts off if the ambient
temperature becomes too high (as soon as the
ambient temperature has decreased, the charger will
resume operating)
- the appliance can be left connected to the charger
indefi nitely
- if you anticipate long periods of non-use for the
appliance, it is best to unplug the charger from its
power source

forward as illustrated
• Crevice accessory 7
For cleaning hard-to-reach places remove crevice
accessory G from appliance holder C and mount it onto
dust compartment J as illustrated
