1.
If there is no oiler installed in the compressed air system, lubricate the compressed air motor
through the air intake using an oil can or oil gun and then operate the tool. Several drops of SAE10
or sewing machine oil may be used for this purpose. Do not use cleaning oil.
2.
Before you connect the hose for use, pour in 4 or 5 drops of spindle oil no. 10 into the air intake. Do
not use more viscous oil, as this can result in reduced performance or malfunction.
3.
Lubrication must be performed after 3 to 4 hours of continuous operation.
4.
After use, disconnect the compressed air hose and pour 4 or 5 drops of spindle oil no. 10 into the
air intake. Then reconnect the hose and operate the tool for a few seconds. This will extend the life
of the tool.
5.
Clean the air intake filter cassette each week.
Problems:
•
The tool does not work at normal or variable speed.
•
The motor is blocked.
•
Automatic start-up when the compressed air is connected.
•
Reduced torque.
Abnormal vibrations, the casing heats up.
•
Causes:
•
Insufficient supply of compressed air (the air pressure is not within the required standard).
Defective speed control/switch.
•
Worn out or broken rotor blade.
•
Dust has entered the motor.
•
Speed control or start button not working.
•
Air leaking at the intake or somewhere else.
•
One or more bearings are damaged.
•
Corresponding O-rings are worn out or out of position.
•
Actions:
Inspect the compressed air hose to see if it is blocked or trapped.
•
Check that the compressor is supplying the required pressure.
•
Replace the rotor blades.
•
Dismantle the tool and clean the inside according to the instructions.
•
Inspect and ensure that the speed control/start button is functioning correctly.
•
•
Inspect the air leak and rectify according to instructions.
•
Replace damaged bearings.
•
Replace worn O-rings or reinstall intact O-rings.
•
Lubricate the tool until it achieves the correct speed and torque.
NOTE! Contact your dealer or the dealer's authorised service centre if you cannot resolve the problem
