Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
1.
Always wear approved eye protection. Also wear a breathing mask as the work can generate dust
that is harmful to health. If necessary, also wear ear protection and protective gloves.
2.
Keep a firm footing and a proper balance at all times. Secure the workpiece with clamps or in a
vice so you have both hands free to operate the tool.
3.
Do not wear loose-fitting clothing that can become caught in the tool's moving parts. Take off
jewellery, watches, etc.
4.
Ensure that the workplace is free of foreign objects, and that unauthorised individuals remain at a
safe distance. Make sure that the workplace is well ventilated.
5.
Disconnect the compressed air hose before adjusting or replacing accessories.
6.
Check that the tool is turned off before connecting it to the compressed air system.
7.
Disconnect the tool after use.
8.
Never carry the tool by the compressed air hose.
WARNINGS
1.
Never use the tool in potentially explosive environments.
2.
Maintain a proper balance and always wear gloves to reduce the risk of crushing injuries due to the
torque in the event of a significant reaction between the tool and the workpiece.
3.
Unexpected tool movements due to reaction forces, or breakages in the tool, can cause personal
injury.
4.
Wear a hair net if you have long hair, and ensure that loose-fitting clothes cannot become caught in
the tool. You can be injured if scarves etc. are not kept away from the tool when it is in operation.
5.
The noise level (sound pressure level) at the workplace may exceed the regular standard, which is
normally 85 dB(A). In such cases, approved ear protection must be used.
6.
If the tool moves in an unexpected direction, a dangerous situation can arise.
7.
The most significant causes of serious and even fatal injuries are when the operator slips, trips or
falls. Look out for hoses in the workplace, including the connection hose.
8.
Excessively high air pressure and excessive free rotation can accelerate tool wear and give rise to
dangerous situations.
9.
Continuous operation and poor working conditions injure your hands. If you start to experience pain
or feel numbness in your hands, stop working and take a break. You can continue your work once
the symptoms have disappeared, although you should consult your doctor for a check-up.
10.
The design of the tool may not be modified – this can entail safety risks.

Max. vibration level
Always wear ear protection!
The declared vibration value, which has been measured by a standardised test method, can be used to
compare different tools with each other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING: The actual vibration level when using power tools may differ from the specified maximum
value, depending on how the tool is used. It is therefore necessary to determine which safety precautions
are required to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating conditions (taking
into account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when the tool is switched off and when it is idling,
in addition to the start-up time).
