Using the WiFi Borescope app
1. Once a wireless connection has been established between the mobile device and the camera
handset, open the 'WiFi Borescope' app
2. The app will display the image generated by the camera and transmitted by the handset
• The Camera can now be used with or without accessories attached
Notes on using the WiFi Borescope app
• Rotate the mobile device to display the app in either landscape or portrait
• Photo Button (19): press this button to capture a still photographic image. It will be saved to
the mobile device's storage, which can be accessed in the device's photograph folder or via the
Image Gallery (20) on the app
• Image Gallery (20): press this button to access/view/delete captured pictures
• Video Record (21): press this button to begin recording silent video. Press the button again to
stop the recording. The video will be saved to the mobile device's storage, which can be accessed
through the device's video folder or via the Video Gallery (22) on the app
• Video Gallery (22): press this button to access/view/delete captured videos
• Image Rotate (23): press this button to rotate the displayed image 90 degrees
• Settings (24): press this button to access other settings on the app, such as access to changing
the default SSID and password to a custom SSID and password
• Camera LED Brightness Level Indicator (25): Displays the current Camera LED brightness
when the brightness level is adjusted
• 2-Stage Zoom Function: To operate the zoom function double tap the image on the screen.
Double tap to increase the zoom and again to return to original size.
Changing the SSID & Password
To Change the SSID or password:
1. Tap the Settings Button (24)
2. Tap the current SSID or Password
3. Enter new SSID or Password
4. Tap the OK Button
IMPORTANT: Make a note of your new SSID and password for future reference
5. Once a new password or SSID has been created the Camera will automatically disconnect from
the phone or device
6. After one minute reconnect the phone or device to the camera using the new SSID or password
information
Note: Press and hold the Reset Button (8) for 10 seconds while the handset is switched ON to revert
to the handset's factory default SSID and password settings.

Maintenance
WARNING: ALWAYS remove batteries before carrying out any inspection, maintenance or
cleaning.
• Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storage
• Clean with care using a damp cloth or similar if needed
• Do not immerse any part of the Wi-Fi handset in water or other liquid and do not use abrasive
cleaning materials on any part of the device
Storage
• Always remove batteries before storing for a long time to prevent battery drain, battery leakage,
and damage to the device
• Store the product and all accessories in the case supplied, in a dry environment out of the reach
of children
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer functional
and are not viable for repair.
• Do not dispose of power tools, batteries or other waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE), with household waste
• Contact your local waste disposal authority for information on the correct way to dispose of power
tools and batteries
