4. The device is now ready to use
Note: The Power Indicator Light (5) illuminates green when the batteries have significant charge.
When the batteries lose charge, the Power Indicator Light flashes orange and after 60 seconds the
tool will switch OFF. Replace the batteries if the Power Indicator Light flashes orange.
IMPORTANT: Use batteries of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace all batteries
at the same time.
Attaching the camera accessories
• Three accessories are supplied for use with the camera: Mirror (11), Hook (12) and Magnet (13)
• The Hook or Magnet can be used to retrieve small items, such as dropped rings or screws,
whereas the mirror can be used to carry out inspection from inaccessible viewing angles
• To attach an accessory:
1. Slide the Accessory Ring (10) over the Camera (16) (Fig. III)
2. Insert the accessory into the small hole on the side of the Camera (Fig. IV)
3. Align the accessory shaft with the channel on the inside of the Accessory Ring and slide the
Accessory Ring onto the Camera to secure the accessory in position (Fig. V)
Attaching the Mobile-Phone Holder
1. Loosen the two Bracket Clamping Knobs (14)
2. Position the Mobile-Phone Holder bracket on the tool collar (Fig. VI)
3. Tighten the Bracket Clamping Knobs evenly (Fig. VII)
4. Align the slots on the Mobile-Phone Holder to the lugs on the bracket (Fig. VIII)
5. Once aligned, slide the Mobile-Phone Holder until it clicks into place
Attaching a mobile phone to the Mobile-Phone
Holder
• The Mobile-Phone Holder (2) can accommodate various sized mobile phone devices due to the
integrated adjustable Mobile-Phone Clamps (1)
• To attach a mobile phone:
1. Press and hold the Clamp Release Button (3) (Fig. IX)
2. Extend the Mobile-Phone Holder Feet (18) (Fig. X)
3. Position the mobile phone in the Mobile-Phone Holder
Note: Ensure the Mobile-Phone Clamps (1) or the Mobile-Phone Holder Feet do not press against
any external buttons on the mobile phone device before clamping.
4. Squeeze the Mobile-Phone Clamps inward until the mobile phone is securely held in place. (Fig.
XI)
Switching ON & OFF
1. Press and hold the ON/OFF Power/Brightness Switch (6) until the Power Indicator Light (5)
illuminates green to indicate the power is ON (Fig. XII).
2. The Power Indicator Light will then begin to flash indicating the tool is not yet connected to a
device
3. To switch the device OFF press and hold the ON/OFF Power/Brightness Switch until the Power
Indicator Light extinguishes
Downloading the app
Note: Only mobile devices (mobile phones and tablets) that have Apple iOS or Android operating
systems are compatible with the app required to use Wi-Fi Video Inspection Camera. There is no
manual, wired video output on the handset.

Setting up the Wi-Fi connection between mobile
device and handset
1. On the mobile phone or tablet/iPad, navigate to the Wi-Fi/Wlan settings and ensure that the
Wi-Fi/Wlan is turned ON
2. Switch the video inspection camera ON (see 'Switching ON & OFF')
3. Wait for the Power Indicator Light (5) to flash green
4. On the mobile device, look for 'WIFICAMERA_******' in the Wi-Fi/Wlan available networks and
connect to it
Note: The specific model number will appear in place of ******. This is the video camera's Service
Set Identifier (SSID) or Wi-Fi network name.
5. Once successfully connected the Power Indicator Light will turn solid green
6. If a password is requested upon connection the default password is set to '88888888' . Once the
mobile device is connected to the network, the Wi-Fi camera is ready to use
Note: Multiple devices can simultaneously connect to the handset at one time.
Note: The default password and SSID can be changed using the app. If the custom password or SSID
is forgotten, press the Reset Button (8) on the handset for 10 seconds while the handset is switched
ON. This will restore the handset to its factory default (Fig. XIII).
Operation
WARNING: Only the Camera (16) and Flexible Camera Cable (15) are waterproof. The Wi-Fi
handset and compatible mobile device are not waterproof. DO NOT immerse the handset and
mobile device in water or other liquid, and always dry hands before operating the device, changing
batteries, or pressing any of the buttons on the handset or mobile device.
Using the Flexible Camera Cable
• The Flexible Camera Cable (15) and the Camera (16) are waterproof and can be used in water
and other cool, non-corrosive liquids
• The brightness of the lights in the Camera housing can be controlled by pressing the ON/OFF
Power/Brightness Switch (6). The brightness level is displayed on the app by the Camera LED
Brightness Level Indicator (25) (see 'Using the WiFi Borescope app'). Repeatedly pressing ON/
OFF Power/Brightness Switch will gradually increase the brightness of the LEDs then cycle back
to lower light
• The Flexible Camera Cable can be bent into any shape, making it convenient for checking a
variety of areas and hard-to-see places (Fig. XIV)
