Open the battery compartment located on the rear side of the devices. Place the batte-
ries in the battery compartment. Observe the shown polarity. ( both indoor and outdoor
device). Or find a suitable place for the adaptor, insert the jack-plug into the back hole of
the device (DC 4.5V)

It can take a few moments until the outdoor temperature as measured by the outdoor unit
is displayed on the indoor station. Do not press any buttons meanwhile.
•
Mount the outdoor unit in an appropriate place, protected from rain, wind and direct sun-
light, to avoid distorted or inaccurate measurements due to evaporation coldness or snow.
