Before using the Electric Laundry Drying Rack (hereafter referred to as 'device'), always take the
following basic precautions:
GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
• Carefully read the instructions for use and store them in a safe location. If you give this device to other
people, please also pass on this manual.
• Only use this device in accordance with instructions in this user manual. Failure to follow the instructions
may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
• Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
• Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low height, can damage the device.
• Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device if it is damaged.
• The guarantee will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a result of not observing this user
manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual,
negligent use or use which does not comply with the conditions of this user manual.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children and pets.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children as this device is not a toy and should be kept under strict
supervision to prevent children from using the device as a toy.
• Do not allow unsupervised children to clean or maintain this device.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric shocks. Do not touch the
device if it has fallen into water. Disconnect the power plug from the power socket, switch OFF the device
and do not use it again.
• Never use the device outdoors, on balconies, on wet surfaces.
• Do not use the device if it has become faulty, fallen or been damaged in any way.
• Do not move or store the device until it has cooled down.
• Clean the device thoroughly after use and store it in a dry place out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.
• O nly allow repairs to be carried out by a qualified service centre. Qualified service centre: after-sales
department of the manufacturer or store, which is recognised and authorised to carry out such repairs,
so that potential hazards can be prevented. If problems are encountered with the device, please return
it to this department.
• This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for professional use.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, protect the device against dripping or
splashing water, and keep it away from objects filled with liquids, such as vases. Such objects should
not be placed on or near the device.
WARNING!
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing
material for children. Risk of suffocation!
ELECTRICITY AND HEAT
• Prior to use, check that the mains voltage is the same as the mains voltage stated on the name plate of the
device.
• Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device or power cord. Especially when connecting it in or
out of the power socket. This is accompanied risk of electric shocks and electrocution.
• Only connect the power plug into an easily accessible power socket, so you can quickly pull it out of the
power socket in case of emergency.
• Do not use the device in bathrooms or humid places and avoid the risk of electric shock by preventing it
from getting wet!
• Do not use the device if the power cord shows signs of damage. If the power cord is damaged, have it
replaced by a qualified service centre.
• Make sure the power cord cannot be trodden on or pinched.
