switch the machine off. Loosen the application tool.
Before switching on the power tool, make sure

switching on with a blocked drilling tool, high torque
reaction can occur.
When not using the power tool, switch it off in
order to save energy.
Always wait until the machine has come to a
complete stop before placing it down. The tool
insert can jam and lead to loss of control over the
power tool.

BEFORE USING THE TOOL
FOR THE FIRST TIME
_ Examine the place where the device is to be used
for hidden electrical cables, gas and water pipes using
a pipe finding device.
_ Before connecting to !he mains, ensure care that the
mains voltage corresponds to the details on the rating
plate.
MOUNTING AND REMOVING
A BIT OR CHISEL
This tool uses drill bits and chisels with a special tool
holder system for quick and easy mounting.
Apply a small amount of grease on the bit or chisel
shaft.
Pull the collar (5) backward and insert the shaft of
the bit or chisel into the drill chuck (4). Turn the bit or
chisel until the shaft is locked in the drill chuck.
Release the collar (5).
In order to remove the bit or chisel, pull the collar (5)
backward and remove the bit or chisel from the drill
chuck.

MOUNTING THE SIDE GRIP
For reasons of safety, only use the hammer drill with
handle attachment.
You will be able to obtain a safe body position when
working by rotating the handle attachment.
Loosen and turn the handle attachment in an ant-
clockwise direction. Then tighten the handle
attachment.
Loosen the side grip (7).
Slide the holder of the side grip over the
drill chuck on the machine.
Turn the side grip in the required position
and tighten it firmly.
DEPTH STOP
Loosen the lock knob for depth stop and place the
straight part of the depth stop in the hole.
Adjust the depth stop and retighten the handle
attachment.
DUST COLLECTION DEVICE
Before carrying out hammer-drilling work vertically
overhead pull dust collecting device over the drill bit.
SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE
The machine must be set to the required
function (drilling, hammer drilling or
chiseling) before use.
For drilling without hammering (in soft
stone, wood or steel) you turn the hammer
