The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer can cause

KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This product is designed for domestic use only.
Important information about the cable
Only plug the power cable into an earthed socket. As a safety measure, this appliance is
fitted with an earthed plug. This plug will only fit into an earthed socket and only in one
direction. If the plug does not fit completely into the socket, change the position. If it does
not fit in either direction, contact an electrician. Do not try to alter this safety measure.
A short electrical cable is provided (or connector cable) to reduce the risk of getting caught
up or tripping over a longer cable. Extension leads may be used if due care is taken.
If using an extension lead, the nominal electrical capacity of this cable must be at least
equal to the nominal electrical capacity indicated on the appliance. The extension lead
must be positioned so that it does not hang off a counter or a table where a child could pull
on it or trip over it.

ASSEMBLY
1. Place the multicooker upside down on a table or kitchen sideboard.
2. Remove the four screws from the protrusions on the body of the multicooker.
3. Position the handles on the multicooker, lining up the holes on the handles with the
protrusions on the multicooker.
4. Replace the screws and tighten them correctly (Fig. 1). Warning: Excessive tightening
could cause the screws to become loose, or could break the handles or feet. The
handles are correctly fitted if, when you place the multicooker on a flat surface, it
remains level.
5. Attach the handle to the lid (Fig. 2). Place the lid handle upside down on a work surface
and place the handle base on top of the handle with the largest surface facing upwards.
Place the large rubber washer on the base. Place the multicooker glass lid upside down
on the large rubber washer so the hole on the lid is lined up with the hole on the washer
and the hole on the base. Attach the handle and the base to the lid using the small
rubber washer, the metal washer and the screw. Tighten correctly.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this appliance for the first time, wash the multicooker and lid in the dishwasher
or with warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Do not immerse the temperature gauge or allow
it to come into contact with any liquids. Lubricate the non-stick cooking surface by rubbing
in a little cooking oil. Remove any excess oil with kitchen paper.
1. Place the multicooker on a dry, flat and heat resistant surface.
2. Insert the temperature gauge into the multicooker, so that the two electric prongs on the
multicooker are fully coupled to the temperature gauge. Plug the power cable into the
mains socket.
3. Turn the temperature gauge to the desired temperature (see table of temperatures).
Remove the lid and pre-heat the multicooker. The pilot light will switch off when the
selected temperature has been reached (this will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Do not turn the appliance to maximum temperature when empty,
as it may overheat and break down
4. Prepare the food you wish to cook. Since the multicooker surface has a non-stick finish,
food can be prepared with little or no oil.
5. Place the food in the multicooker and cook according to the cooking time-temperature
table. Adjust the temperature according to personal taste and the specific food item you
are cooking. During cooking, the pilot light will come on and go off indicating that the
desired temperature is being maintained.
6. Set the temperature gauge to the "O" position when you have finished cooking. Unplug
the temperature gauge from the mains socket and then remove from the appliance.

CLEANING AND CARE

-
Before using this appliance for the first time and after every use, wash the multicooker
and lid in the dishwasher or with warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Do not immerse the
temperature gauge or allow it to come into contact with any liquids.
-
For the best results, use utensils made from nylon, plastic, wood or rubber. Do not use
metal utensils since they could scratch the non-stick surface. Do not slice or chop food
on the cooking surface.
