your new PALSON TITANIUM-PRO hair straightener.
Please read these instructions carefully before using this appliance.
To reduce the risk of accidents take the following precautions:
PRECAUTIONS:
1. Always unplug the appliance immediately after use.
2. Never use the device while in the bath.
3. Warning: Do not use this appliance near baths, showers, washbasins, or other containers of water or
other liquids.
4. Do not place it in or let it fall into water or other liquids.
5. If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not put your hands in water.
6. Keep the appliance away from water.
7. The appliance must never be left unattended when it is plugged in.
8. Particular attention must be paid when the appliance is used by or near children or people with
disabilities.
9. This appliance should only be used for the purpose for which it has been designed, as described in this
leaflet. Do not use accessories that have not been recommended by the manufacturer.
10. Do not use this appliance if the cable or plug is damaged, if it is not working, if it has been dropped
or damaged or if it has fallen into water or other liquids. Take the appliance to the nearest authorised
service agent for inspection or repair.
11. Keep the power cable away from heat and hot surfaces. Do not roll the cable around the appliance.
12. Do not use the appliance if you are drowsy or sleepy.
13. Do not put anything into or let anything fall into the appliance.
14. Do not use the appliance in the open air or in places where aerosol sprays are being used or oxygen is
being administered.
15. This appliance will become hot during use. Do not let the hot surfaces touch your skin.
16. Do not place the appliance directly onto any surface while it is still hot or plugged in.
17. Do not use an extension cable with the appliance.
18. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or his authorised technical agent
or by a qualified technician, so as to avoid any risk.
19. This product should not be used by children or people without assistance if their physical, sensorial or
mental state prevents them from using it safely. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play
with the appliance.
DANGER- In common with other electrical appliances, the electrical components are live even when the
appliance is switched off.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR THE POWER CABLE
1. Never pull on the cable or appliance.
2. To plug in the appliance, hold the plug firmly and push it into the socket.
3. To unplug the appliance, hold the plug and pull it out of the socket.
4. Before each use, inspect the cable carefully for wear and / or cuts. If you find any damage, the appliance
should be serviced and the cable replaced.
5. Never roll the cable tightly around the appliance, as this can result in excessive strain on the cable
where it enters the appliance, causing abrasion and/or breakages.
Do not use the appliance if the cable is damaged at all, if the appliance malfunctions, functions intermittently
or stops functioning.
