Security button
This button is designed to generate an
individual HomePlug network group in a
multi-node environment. Please refer to
the "Individual HomePlug Network Setup"
section below for more details.
Reset button
This button is used to clear ALL data and
restore ALL settings to the factory default
values.
Note: The HomePlug must be plugged in
to be restored to its all factory settings.
Using a small object like a paper clip, you
can press and hold the reset button for
about 3 seconds until the status light
begins to flash. Then, the device is in
factory default mode again.

Initial setup

The CS500PLC4N100 is a Plug-and-Play device. You can easily use the device without any
complicated configurations and settings. You can also use the device to connect network devices like
computers and game consoles directly. You can also connect devices like Blu-Ray Disc™ player to a
router or modem for internet access.
Connect the HomePlug AV Ethernet Bridge to a computer or modem / router:
1. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into an Ethernet port on the bottom of the HomePlug.
2. Plug the HomePlug into an AC wall power outlet near the device you want to connect to.

Solid green: 10/100/1000Mbps port linked
Blinking: 10/100/1000Mbps port
transmitting or receiving
Off: Ethernet link not active
