3 INSTALLATION

The appliance must be installed by qualified staff.
The VMI® unit must be installed in compliance with the local regulations in force.
Electrical connections must be made in accordance with the local regulations in force.
For safety aspects, please refer to section 1.3 Safety instructions.
To install the VMI® PUREVENT unit, the VMI® LINK PRO app and registration via the VENTILAIRSEC
portal are first required.

3.1 PUREVENT housing installation

Refer to the template provided on the VMI® PUREVENT box.
The unit can be fitted in two ways:
- Wall-mounted (making sure that the filter is on the same side as the exterior air inlet)
- Ceiling-mounted (recommendation: cover on top)
Firstly, the two supporting elements provided must be
attached to the housing.
3.2 Installing the PUREVENT housing with
HYDRO'R option
Refer to the template provided on the VMI® PUREVENT HYDRO'R box.
Warning: The unit must be positioned horizontally with the condensate drain at the bottom and the
hydraulic tapping points upwards.
