PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

WARNING :
ALL THE PRECAUTIONS MENTIONED BELOW AND IN THIS HANDBOOK MUST
BE READ CAREFULLY. THEY ARE THERE TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY, CORRECT
OPERATION OF YOUR APPARATUS AND ITS GUARANTEE. DO NOT NEGLECT
THEM!!!
1. Do not use the unit in a room that is too cluttered.
2. Avoid exposing the apparatus directly to sunlight. The external appearance and
the colours could deteriorate.
3. Do not use the unit on a floor with water or near to a water source.
4. Do not press the buttons with wet hands.
5. Do not use it near a gas appliance, a strong heat source, or near inflammable
liquids.
6. Do not use the unit close to a laundry, a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
7. The unit must not be placed directly below a strong air outflow.
8. To avoid electromagnetic interference: keep the unit at least one metre away
from radios or televisions.
9. Always leave sufficient space between the wall or glass and the unit. Do not
cover the unit in any way.
10. Do not install the apparatus in a position where there could be leaks of inflam-
mable products.
11. In abnormal conditions (smell of burning, for example) switch off the apparatus
immediately, disconnect it and consult your dealer.
12. Do not expose yourself for too long a time directly in front of the cool airflow.
This could harm your health.
13. Do not block the wings directing the air.
14.Do not connect the apparatus to an extension or a multi-plug, so as to avoid any
short-circuiting or over-heating problem.
WARNING :
DO NOT TURN THE UNIT UPSIDE DOWN. If the unit is unfortunately turned upside
down, disconnect it immediately and ask for advice from your local dealer. Re-start
it 24 hours later. Do not spray insecticide or other chemical products on the unit.
NOTES: This unit is a mobile air conditioner, and the whole of the working unit is
inside a room to be air-conditioned. This product is a back-up apparatus, different
from other usual air conditioners in the window or ceiling. They do not have the
same yields, nor the same power. In its immediate environment, this mobile air
conditioner has a very high performance and gives excellent results.
