Setting the Screw-in Depth
The required screw-in depth can be variably adjust-
ed by changing the setting of the knurled screw 8 on
the rear of the device.
8
The screw-in depth required is dependent on the ma-
terial to be worked and is best determined with prac-
tical trials.
Replacing the Screw Strip
Slide the screw strip into the holder guide 10; the
first screw of the screw strip must rest against the
transport hook
To ensure proper functioning of the automatic
transport mechanism, a return stroke must be per-
formed before beginning the screwdriving work
each time the screw strip is inserted/exchanged, in
order to bring the first screw into the working po-
sition.
Operating Instructions
Check the rotation direction of the screwdriver (if
reversible) before beginning the screwdriving
work. The screwdriving attachment must be oper-
ated only with the rotational direction switch in
the "right rotation" position.
Always drive in screws at a right angle to your
work.
Screws already driven cannot be loosened or
retightened with the screwdriving attachment.
For flawless functioning of the device, use only
screw strips in accordance with WÜRTH specifi-
cations.
Switch on the drive tool and apply the stop 9 to the
screwing location. Apply the screwdriving attach-
ment with uniform pressure against the material sur-
face until the clutch of the drive tool disengages
upon reaching the preset screw-in depth.
By briefly lifting the stop 9 from the material surface,
the next screw is transported into the working posi-
tion.
Note: When the screwdriving bit slips in the head of
the screw, lift off the screwdriving attachment imme-
diately, otherwise the screw head and the screwdriv-
ing bit will be damaged.
