1 Introduction

1.1 Intended Use

The ARP-1.2 back pressure regulator is used to maintain a constant sample gas pressure inside the analyser regardless of the am-
bient pressure, and installs in the gas outlet of the analyser. If pressure in the inlet rises above the set pressure, the valve opens
and allows gas to discharge through the outlet.
Please also note the attached data sheet, particularly regarding technical data. Please see the type plate for the model and set-
tings.

• 1 x back pressure regulator
• 1 x Product documentation
NOTICE! For safety reasons, the back pressure regulator comes with hose connection between the inlet and outlet. This
must be removed prior to installation.

Operation of the device is only valid if:
• the product is used under the conditions described in the installation- and operation instruction, the intended application
according to the type plate and the intended use. In case of unauthorized modifications done by the user Bühler Technolo-
gies GmbH can not be held responsible for any damage,

• the performance limits given in the datasheets and in the installation- and operation instruction are obeyed,
• monitoring devices and safety devices are installed properly,
• service and repair is carried out by Bühler Technologies GmbH,
• only original spare parts are used.
