Congratulations on your purchase of this Nikobus application for the Pronto remote control RU950 version 1.0. For a description of the complete system,
please consult the Pronto user manual of Philips.
1. LEGAL WARNINGS
- Read the complete manual before attempting installation and activating the system.
- The installation has to be carried out by a qualified person and in compliance with the statutory regulations.
- This user manual has to be handed over to the user. It has to be included in the electrical installation file and has to be passed on to any new owners.
Additional copies are available on the Niko website or via the support service.
- During installation, the following has to be taken into account (not limited to list below):
- The statutory laws, standards and regulations;
- The state of the art technique at the moment of installation;
- This user manual, which must be read within the scope of each specific installation, only states general regulations;
- The rules of proper workmanship
- In case of questions, you can consult Niko's support service or contact a registered control organisation.

In case of a defect, you can return your product to a registered Niko wholesaler, together with a clear description of your complaint (Conditions of use,
stated defect...).
2. PROGRAMMING
The names of the buttons can be adapted according to your personal wishes and requirements. The names can be modified either
directly on the Pronto, or via the ProntoEdit NG software. Please consult the corresponding manuals for more details. You can use the
Pronto remote control with Nikobus application in 10 different rooms of your home. Place a Nikobus IR bus push button in every room.
Per room, 39 channels are available. Use the Nikobus software to assign an IR bus push button to every room. When carrying out a
new programming in the Making connections window, the IR bus push buttons are displayed in the right subwindow Inputs. If you
double-click on one of these bus push buttons, a long list of 39 channels is displayed. Depending on the function you wish to program
(light points, appliances, shutters, audio or light atmospheres), you select a relevant channel from
the drawings below (the number) and one or several buttons (A, B, C and/or D).
The hardware MUTE button is programmed under channel 29, button C within every Nikobus
window.
2.1. Light 1 window
In the first two Pronto windows, separate light circuits can be switched and dimmed. Obviously, you can only
dim the light if it is connected to a dimmer and a dim controller.
In the Light 1 window, channels 1 up to and including 7 are used. Program switching ON on button A, switching
OFF on button B, dimming UP on button C and dimming DOWN on button D. For programming, use function
M1 of the switch module or function M2 of the dim controller.

2.3. Appliances window
In the Appliances window, you can switch separate appliances through an output of the switch module.
In the Appliances window, channels 15 up to and including 20 are used. Program switching ON on button A,
switching OFF on button B. For programming, use function M1 of the switch module.
