PERFORMANCE HINTS
• Secure that your compressor cooler is well ventilated so that any heat created can
dissipate. Otherwise, proper functioning cannot be guaranteed. Do not to cover the
air vents.
• Allow hot food to cool down first before placing it into the device.
• Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not excessively refrigerated.
Liquids expand when they freeze and can therefore destroy the glass containers.
• Fill the compressor cooler with food and beverages which have already been
refrigerated.
• Place the compressor cooler in a well-ventilated area which is protected from direct
sunlight.
• Avoid setting the target temperature unnecessarily low.
• Do not open the compressor cooler more often than necessary.
• Do not leave the lid open longer than necessary!
• Defrost the compressor cooler once the ice starts to form.
CONNECTING TO 12/24 V DC
• The compressor cooler can be operated on either 12 V or 24 V DC.
• Prior to connecting, check whether the voltage indicated on the manufacturer's
label is in accordance with the battery voltage. Ensure whether the circuit is in good
condition and has the correct capacity to power the compressor cooler.
• Under no circumstances should you try to split the wires of an extension cord.
• Do not use a power strip or two-way splitter.
• Never handle the plugs, leads or switches with wet hands or while standing on a wet
surface.
1.
Plug the 12/24 V DC power lead into the DC power socket.
2. Connect the DC plug to cigarette lighter socket.
3. The compressor cooler is equipped with an electronic system to prevent reverse
polarity for safety reasons. This protects the device against short circuits when
connected to a battery.
TURNING ON OR OFF
• To turn on, press the ON/OFF button once.
• To turn off, press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 5 seconds.
When the compressor cooler is off, the power LED and the display will go blank.
NOTE: The temperature displayed on the display is the temperature inside the
refrigerator compartment. The temperature may be different elsewhere in the
refrigerator.
BATTERY MONITOR ADJUSTMENT WITH ANTI-LOW VOLTAGE PROTECTION
SYSTEM
• The device is fitted with a 3-level battery preservation monitor with anti-low voltage
protection system.
• It has three settings: "H1", "H2" and "H3", to monitor the vehicle's battery to prevent a
full discharge. The higher the setting the higher the cut-off voltage will be.
• When the compressor cooler is switched on and connected to the vehicle's power
supply while the vehicle ignition is switched off, the compressor cooler will turn off
automatically when the supply voltage drops below the set level. The cooler will turn
on again once the battery has been charged to the voltage level required for restart.
• ATTENTION! Risk of damage! If the device is shut down by the battery monitor function,
the battery will no longer be fully charged. Avoid restarting the device or using it without
first carrying out long charging phases. Ensure the battery is charged.
• The battery monitor responds faster to the "H3" level than to the "H1" and "H2" levels.
