3. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating position and they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug
in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user mainte-
nance.
4. CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and
cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children
and vulnerable people are present.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
6. Connect appliance only to an AC power supply with voltage as
specified on the rating plate.
7. Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or remote
control system.
8. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Protect
the appliance from moisture.
9. For safety reasons never use the appliance in the vicinity of a
bath tub or sink filled with water, or in the vicinity of other ves-
sels filled with water.
10. Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot
parts.
11. To unplug the appliance, only pull on the plug, never pull directly
on the power cord.
12. Always ensure that the power cord is laid out its entire length to
prevent damage due to overheating.
13. As additional protection, we recommend installation of a resid-
ual current device (RCD/FI) with a tripping characteristic of not
more than 30 mA in the bathroom power circuit. Consult with
your electrician.
14. The appliance is intended for household use only; it is not
designed for commercial requirements.
15. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
16. During operation, leave sufficient space between the appliance
and walls and other flammable objects such as curtains.
17. Do not operate the appliance in the vicinity of heat sources.
18. Ensure that the air intake grille in the appliance is unobstructed
at all times. Clean the air inlet grille at regular intervals.
19. Never cover the air inlet grille or the air outlet opening with your
hand or other objects.
