Make sure the mains electric supply has a 30mA protection and a circuit breaker with 3 mm space
between the contacts.
Do not connect the machine to the mains electricity supply by a multi-socket adapter or an
extension lead.
All installation works must strictly comply with current local and national safety regulations.
On the lower part of the machine there's a terminal for the equipotential connection to other
equipment, marked with the symbol

Getting Started
1. Turn the main switch (9) to position 1 in order to switch on the machine and start the water
filling. The machine automatically starts to fill the boiler with water and the green signal light
turns on. When the water reaches the minimal water level, the signal light switches off.
2. When the green signal lamp switches off, turn the main switch to position 2 in order to start the
water heating. During the water heating an orange signal lamp lights up. When the water
temperature reaches the working level, the orange signal lamp switches off.
3. Check the manometers.
a.
When the orange signal lamp switches off, the boiler pressure must be at +/- 1bar (+/- 0,1
MPa). The manometer of the pump must show the system pressure,
b. The pump pressure must be +/- 9 bar (+/- 0,9 MPa). The pump pressure can easily be
adjusted by turning the screw on the pump head.
4. Clean the steam wands before starting to work with the machine by turning the control knob of the
steam wand to the right. This opens the steam wand. Let steam flow out for a few seconds. The hot
steam cleans the wand. Turn the wand off. Do this on every steam wand on the machine.
5. Now you can begin to make coffee.

Programming of portions (CV models)
The CV models with flowmeter for volumetric control allow to program each drink.
Always start the programming on the first (leftmost) group of the machine. The settings on the
first group are automatically transferred to the other groups. However, you may program each
group separately.
1. Fill the porta-filter with the desired amount of ground coffee and put it in the group.
2. Press key 5 and keep it pressed for 3 seconds in order to enter the programming mode. The LED of
key 5 starts to blink. All other LEDs on the keyboard light up (without blinking). The machine is
ready to be programmed.
3. Within 5 seconds, press the key you want to program (for exemple key 1). The LED of the selected
key and key 5 light up. All other LEDs on the keyboard turn off.
4. When the desired amount of coffee has been reached, press any of the drink keys (keys 1-4) on the
keyboard in order to stop the production. The LED of the programmed key turns off. O LED of key 5
blinks and all other LEDs light up (without blinking).
5. Repeat steps 1-4 on all other keys you wish to program.
