iPod Mode
Introduction
A is made-to-measure for your iPod
or iPhone. It requires very little effort to
get up and running as an easy-to-use
charging point and high quality
ampliier for your Apple device.
Simply plug your iPod or iPhone into
AXiS's dock for instant playback.
See page 21 for instructions and
further guidance on compatibility and
installation of speciic dock adaptors.
Don't forget, even if you own an alternative
type of media player, a irst generation
iPod or an iPod Shufle, you can still use
AXiS for playback via a 3.5mm lead.
Control and Playback
To enter iPod playback mode from
AXiS's home menu screen, just
press and release the iPod icon.
In iPod mode, the controls are simple:
you can use AXiS's touchscreen interface,
or the remote control, to operate the
basic playback features of your iPod.
Where available, AXiS will display
track title, artist name and album
title information on screen.
You can access other iPod features and
controls as normal while docking with AXiS.
The only exception is your iPod's
internal volume control – when plugged
in to AXiS, this feature is disabled.
