note:
The door glass must be removed and the appliance must be secured in its final location before the crystal
embers are installed (see "door glass removal" section).
1. Carefully place the small crystal embers into the bottom media tray (Fig. 1).
2. Apply an even layer from side to side.
3. Randomly place the 3 large crystal embers on top of the small crystal
embers.

birch wood log installation (CEFVC38H only)

note:
Birch wood logs are included with CEFVC38H models only.
note:
The door glass must be removed and the appliance must be secured in its final location before the birch wood
logs are installed into CEFVC38H models only (see "door glass removal" section).
1. Carefully place birch wood logs on the media tray (see below illustration for recommended placement).
2. Use the small crystal embers (see "crystal ember installation" section) to fill in spaces between the birch wood
logs. This will improve the overall look of the appliance.
