NOTE:
• The input is stored automatically within approxi­
mately 30 seconds when no button is pressed.
• Setting of the weekday is done automatically.
• If 12 hour is selected, the following will appear:
AM = morning, PM = afternoon
Adjust Time Zone
To quickly alternate between e. g. daylight savings time
and standard time, press the DOWN button repeatedly.
Available for selection: +1, +2, ­1 and time zone off.
4) Logging the Outdoor Sensor to the Weather Station
To log the outdoor sensors into the base, place the two
appliances side by side.
1. The weather station will automatically search for
the outdoor sensor. The search can take several
minutes. This is shown in the display by the flashing
of the
symbol.
2. If the search for the outdoor sensor is finished the
symbol
goes out.
3. Place or hang the outdoor sensor in a weatherproof
outdoor location.
NOTE:
The radius of function becomes restricted to
approx. 10 meters, depending on the spatial
conditions.
Weather Station Can't Find the Outdoor Sensor?
The outdoor sensor allows you to set three different
channels.
a. Press the CH button in the battery compartment of
the outdoor sensor to select from channels 1 to 3.
Start the search for the outdoor sensor again.
b. To start the search for the outdoor sensor again, hold
the CH button down for approximately 2 seconds.
The previously located channel for the outdoor
sensor will be reset.
The search for the radio signal begins afterwards.
5) Adjust Location
The location must be provided for the approximate
display for sunrise (SUNRISE), sunset (SUNSET),
moonrise (MOONRISE), moonset (MOONSET), moon
phases (MOONPHASE) and tide display (TIDE).
1. Hold the CITY button down for approximately 2 sec­
onds. The currently adjusted city will begin to flash at
LOCATION.
2. Observe the table on page 28.
Select the city closest to your place of residence with
the UP / DOWN button. By holding down the UP or
DOWN button, you activate the quick­scroll.
3. Confirm your entry using the CITY button.

Operation

MODE Button
The normal time display is the standard time display. The
appliance automatically switches back to this display every
approx. 20 seconds.
Press the MODE button repeatedly to alternate between the
following displays:
Date
A1 (Alarm time)
Activate Year Display
Press down the SET button during normal time display and
the year will be displayed for approximately 20 seconds
instead of the weekday.
MAX / MIN Button
Press the button repeatedly to display the maximum, min­
imum, or current temperature / air humidity. The appliance
automatically reverts to the current values after about
20 seconds.
NOTE: Reset MIN and MAX values
While the MIN or MAX display is activated, hold the
MAX / MIN button down for approximately 2 seconds. The
appliance will revert to the current values.
Toggle Temperature Display Between °C and °F
Press the C / F button repeatedly to select °C or °F.
Perceived Temperature Display
The perceived temperature is indexed on the basis of the
combination of air temperature and relative air humidity.
With a temperature of 28 °C or higher, you can briefly
display the perceived temperature.
• To do this, press the HI button. The HEAT INDEX display
will appear for 20 seconds in the display.
Barometric Pressure Display
• Press the HISTORY button repeatedly to display baro­
metric pressure progression over the last 12 hours.
• After 20 seconds, the display will automatically alternate
to show the current barometric pressure.
• Hold the HISTORY button down for approximately 2 sec­
onds to change the display format. While the display is
flashing, you change the format using the UP or DOWN
buttons. Available for selection: mbm / hPa (hectopascal)
or inHg (inch of mercury).
