A 1 Cross Bar
D 2 Side Arms
E 2 M10 x 100 x 1.5mm Bolts, Lock Washers, Nuts, 2 Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
F 4 M10 x 100 x 1.5mm Bolts, Lock Washers, Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
G 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers
H 1 M12 x 35 x 1.75mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers
J 1 Electrical Plate Angle (ZEQ4)
EP 1 Flip up electrical plate kit (Z99)
For use with either
AD49A Flange neck option – ZF3008. Note: This tow bar must be used with either a Witter Tow ball (part number Z11) or
Class A50-1 or A50-X tow ball dimensionally Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the tow
bar.
AD49AQ Detachable neck option – ZQ3008. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
Remove boot floor mat, luggage rails (3 Torx bolts), covers from underneath luggage rails and tape covering forward-

2. Unclip the Plastic Boot Sill by pulling upwards.
3. Remove each luggage rail support bracket (2 long bolts each).
Remove the accessory tray (Left Hand Side) and Fuse Tray (Right Hand Side).

Remove the bumper (4 wheel arch screws, 2 clips along bottom edge, 2 screws on boot face, 4 along boot sill (access

from inside boot)
Remove inner bumper beam complete with mounting arms and hand to customer.

Insert Side Arms (D) into chassis rails and loosely attach using fasteners (E). Note: To gain access to forward holes (E)
7.
it may be necessary to lower the exhaust.
8. Refit luggage rail supports to boot floor using fasteners (F), which will assemble though the Side Brackets (D) into
existing captive nuts, in the base of the chassis rail.
Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to Side Arms (D) using fasteners (G). Ensure Cross Bar (A) is orientated as shown below.

10. Attach Bracket (J) using fastener (H) to Cross Bar (A) and attach Electrical Plate Assembly to Bracket (J).
11. Fully Tighten all Bolts.
12. Cut Bumper as shown below and refit to vehicle.
13. Ref-locate exhaust silencers (if lowered) and refit all boot trim.
Attach neck option and Fully Tighten Bolts.
14.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
