∙ Every time the appliance is used, the
main body including the power cord as
well as any attachment fitted should
be checked thoroughly for any defects.
Should the appliance, for instance, have
been dropped onto a hard surface, or if
excessive force has been used to pull
the power cord, it must no longer be
used: even invisible damage may have
adverse effects on the operational safety
of the appliance.
∙ Do not allow the appliance or its power
cord to touch hot surfaces or to come
into contact with any heat sources.
∙ During operation, the appliance should
be placed on a scratch-resistant surface.
∙ No responsibility is accepted if damage
results from improper use, or if these
instructions are not complied with.
Before using for the first time
Before the appliance is used for the first
time, it must be thoroughly cleaned as
described in the section Cleaning and care.
Short-time operation
The appliance is designed to process
average domestic quantities of food; it
may be operated without interruption for a
maximum of 1 minute, when it should be
allowed to cool down for approximately 10
minutes.

Operation
∙ Always use a suitable container for
operation. A tall container with a flat
base is best.
∙ Push the blender unit down into the
ingredients in the bowl before briefly
switching the unit on with the operation
button.
∙ Make sure that the unit can rotate freely
inside the bowl and is not blocked during
operation.
∙ As soon as the operating button is
released, the blender will switch off.
Always wait until the motor has come to
a complete standstill before lifting the
blender attachment from the mixture.
∙ Always remove the plug from the wall
socket after use.
Information for testing institutes:
The following recipe may be used:
Mix 100 g peeled banana (in 15 mm long
pieces) and 500 ml milk for 60 seconds.
Cleaning and care
∙ Always remove the plug from the wall
socket before cleaning the appliance.
∙ Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning
solutions.
∙ Do not use sharp or pointed objects for
cleaning.
∙ Remove any food residue after each
cycle of use.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the upper part or the power cord
with water and do not immerse them.
The exterior may be wiped with a slightly
damp cloth.
