Description and Function
Your product is an energy-saving replacement lamp for conventional fluourescent tubes. The previous starter, which stimulates the gas to light, is not
longer necessary with LED technique and is replaced by a LED starter. The angle of light emission of LEDs can be a little bit different to conventional
fluourescent tubes. Scope of delivery: T8 LED Lamp, Replacement starter (LED Starter), User's manual
Intended Use
Only use the product as described in chapter "Description and Function". Other use is not permitted. Misuse leads to loss of
warranty and axclusion of liability. Use only in dry ambience. Not suitable for emergency lighting. Not suitable for using with
dimmers. Conversion is only allowed with conventional ballast lamps. Acc. to EN 62776 this is only a maintenance action be-
cause a conversion is always possible. Approvals remain valid.
Installation
1. Check the packing content for completeness and
integrity.
2. BEFORE replacing the lamp, turn off the power
supply and secure against switching on again eg.
by switching off the fuse or by unplugging the
mains plug.
3. Turn the replaceable fluourescent tube by 90°
around its own axis and hold it firmly.
4. Remove the replaceable fluourescent tube carefully
from its base.
5. Turn the replaceable starter anti-clockwise off its
base and pull it out softly.
Disposal Instructions
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components
must be recycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can pollute our environment.
You as a consumer are committed by law to dispose electrical and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at
the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in national right. The symbol on the product, in the user`s manual, or at the
packaging alludes to these terms. With this kind of waste separation, application, and waste disposal of used devices you achieve an important share
to environmental protection.

Slide the replacement starter in the starters base and
turn it clockwise to tighten.
Slide the T8 LED Lamp into its base.
Turn the T8 LED Lamp by 90°, so that the light exit
opening is facing contrary to its base.
