Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY Fibre Optic HDMI Hybrid Cable! This Cable allows you to transmit
HDMI signals up to a distance of 50m. This cable is a hybrid cable containing both fibre optic and copper
cores.
To extend signals over 50m we provide multiple solutions both with and without IR support and up to

Installation and Operation
The minimum bending radius of the hybrid cable is approximately 4cm / 1.5 inch, never bend the
cable to a smaller radius because this would irreversibly destroy the cable.
Never step on the cable or put any heavy pressure on to the cable
The maximum tensile load to the cable is 50N (5kg). Never pull the cable with higher load.
This cable can be used in only one direction. The connectors are labelled "SOURCE" and
"DISPLAY". Each connector must be plugged in to the correct port to avoid display issues.
The connectors include electronic chipsets that require ~250mA of power. Your HDMI device
should be able to provide enough power but when additional power is required you may need
to use a HDMI power injector cable. Please see the LINDY website for more details on this.
Connect the cable to your devices first before powering on your display and source to
complete the installation.
