Operation
The Centralised Pilot Light (--.779.---) is connected to the Centralised Power Supply. A green
LED lights up in the Centralised Pilot Light when electricity is present (1). In the event of electrical
failure, the Centralised Pilot Light is fed through the Centralised Power Supply and is lit up
through 2 yellow LEDs (2). The autonomy of the Centralised Pilot Light depends on the Power
Supply and on the number of Pilot Lights connected (see chart I).
The Centralised Power Supplies (-8.790/-8.791) incorporate the telecommand function which
allows for:
A - Without electricity: STANDBY: with the Pilots in a state of emergency (2), press "OFF" to
move them onto stand-by (all the LEDs off). If we press "ON", all the yellow LEDs will come
back on in a state of emergency (2).
B - With electricity present: SWITCHING AND AUTONOMY TEST without having to disconnect
the power supply: by pressing "ON", the Centralised Pilot Lights move into emergency mode
(3), whilst by pressing "OFF" the Pilot Lights move onto a state of alert with the green LED
lit up (4).
The Centralised Power Supply shows the green LED (230 V ~) when electricity is present. In
the event of electrical failure, the red LED (EMERG) lights up. The correct battery charge is
indicated by a yellow LED (BAT). Both the green and red LEDs will light up whenever we press
"ON" with the electricity supply connected, with the red LED going off whenever we press "OFF"
or the battery runs out.
The Centralised Power Supplies must be installed in a distribution board or on the surface.
Fonctionnement
Le Voyant Balisé Centralisé (--.779.---) est branché à la Source d'Alimentation Centralisée. Une
fois sous tension, le led vert s'allume sur le Voyant Centralisé (1). En cas de défaillance du
secteur électrique, le Voyant Balisé Centralisé est alimenté par la Source d'Alimentation Centralisé
et reste éclairé au moyen de 2 leds jaunes (2). L'autonomie du Voyant Balisé Centralisé dépend
de la Source d'Alimentation et de la quantité de Voyants branchés. (Voir tableau I).
Les Sources d'Alimentations Centralisées (-8.790/-8.791) sont munies de la fonction télécommande
qui permet:
A – Hors tension: MISE EN REPOS : en partant des Voyants en état d'urgence (2), presser
"OFF" pour les mettre en état de repos (tous les leds éteints). Presser "ON" pour allumer à
nouveau les leds jaunes en état d'urgence (2).
B – Sous tension: TEST DE COMMUTATION ET AUTONOMIE sans avoir à débrancher
l'alimentation : presser "ON" pour que les Voyants de Balisage Centralisés passent sur le
mode d'urgence (3) et presser "OFF" pour que les Voyants passent sur l'état d'alerte avec
le led vert allumé (4).
Si la Source d'Alimentation Centralisée est sous tension, le led vert ( 230 V ~) s'allume. En cas
de défaillance du secteur électrique, le led rouge (EMERG) s'allume. Le led jaune (BAT) indique
que les batteries sont bien chargées. Si on presse "ON" avec le secteur branché, les leds vert
et rouge restent allumés, ce dernier s'éteignant en pressant "OFF" ou si la batterie est déchargée.
Les Sources d'Alimentation Centralisées doivent être posées dans l'armoire de distribution ou
en installation murale.
