USING THE cHOPPING BOWL
1. The chopping bowl is extremely useful for chopping solid foods, such as meat, cheese, onions,
herbs, garlic, carrots, nuts, almonds, dried fruit, etc.
2. Do not chop extremely hard foods, such as ice cubes, nutmeg, coffee beans or grain.
Before you start chopping ...
1. Carefully remove the plastic cover from the blade. Be careful: the blade is very sharp!
Only ever hold the blade by the top, plastic section.
2. Place the blade onto the vertical pin in the middle of the chopping bowl. Press the blade downwards
until it locks into place inside the bowl. Always place the bowl on a non-slip base.
3. Place the food in the bowl.
4. Put the lid on the bowl and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
5. Push the motor unit onto the lid on top of the bowl until it locks into place.
6. Use "-" and "+" to set the speed, and press the On/Off switch or the TURBO button to start
the appliance. While the chopping process is going on, hold the motor unit fi rmly with one hand
and the bowl with the other hand.
7. Remove the motor unit from the bowl after use by pressing the buttons at either side inwards at
the same time.
8. Then take the lid off the bowl.
9. Remove the blade with the greatest care.
10. Take the chopped food out of the bowl.
11. Do not process hard foods for longer than 10 seconds.
